At its regular monthly meeting, the Hayneville Town Council passed a number of resolutions to keep municipal operations running smoothly. But among approval for hiring a maintenance worker, adding a part-time custodian and electing council members running unopposed, one council measure passed by unanimous vote will dissolve Hayneville’s municipal court.
Hayneville Municipal Judge Kameisha Logan declined to comment on the town’s decision.
