Dixon Mills woman dies in single-vehicle crash on Alabama 10

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) is investigating a fatal crash that occurred early Sunday, July 20 that killed one woman.

According to ALEA, at approximately 12:45 a.m. 34-year-old Laporsha R. Dumas was driving on Alabama 10 near the 44-mile-marker when her 2018 Nissan Altima left the roadway, striking a utility pole.

ALEA says Dumas was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene…
