An emergency alert was issued across Alabama just after noon on Friday, warning residents to be on the lookout for a man connected to the shooting of a Scottsboro Police officer.
Authorities say Daniel McCarn is the suspect in the shooting, which took place on Highway 72 in Scottsboro. Law enforcement believes McCarn may be traveling on foot and is considered dangerous.
