Reward increased for information in 2019 Montgomery homicide

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – The reward for information in the 2019 cold case homicide of Laquanda Parker is being increased.

CrimeStoppers 215-STOP originally offered a $1,000 reward but is increasing it to $5,000 for information that leads to the location and arrested of a suspect in this case.

On the morning of March 11, 2019, the Montgomery Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at 2800 Fairwest Street, near Carver Elementary School. On scene, officers found Parker, 31, with fatal gunshot wounds.
