Alabama vape restrictions stalled: retailers gain temporary relief

A new Alabama law tightening vape and tobacco sales has hit a roadblock due to a court ruling. Montgomery County Circuit Judge, Monet Gaines temporarily halted the law, which was enacted earlier this year.

The law requires retailers to obtain licenses, bans vending machine sales, and mandates child-resistant packaging and warning signs. It also stipulates that vaping products sold in Alabama must be made in the United States and requires schools to implement a model vaping education program.
