With cuts to SNAP benefits looming and no official timeline announced, the Food Bank of North Alabama(FBNA) is preparing for what may become a significant rise in food insecurity across the region.
“This is definitely, I would say…the closest we’ve been to a crisis,” said Shirley Schofield, CEO of the Food Bank of North Alabama.
