Shipt, the Alabama based grocery shopping company, announced a new program for workers. This comes as a new law takes effect in October, making the program a reality for companies in the state.
People who work for Shipt can get benefits if they make $750 in a qualifying period. The company will give 4% of a shopper’s total earnings that can be used, as needed. That could be for a retirement plan, health coverage, or even childcare.
“That is very meaningful in itself,” said Mindy Reher, vice president of experiential operations for Shipt. “That, not only can they earn these benefits, but they can tailor them.”…
