MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – AAA Alabama is hosting an event to help protect owners of model years 2011-2022 Kia and Hyundai vehicles.
It is well known at this point that a significant number of Kia and Hyundai vehicles are at a high risk of being stolen. To combat this issue, AAA Alabama has partnered with Kia and Hyundai to give away free steering wheel lock devices to owners of these at-risk cars.
The event will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at three AAA offices around the state:
- Birmingham office, 2400 Acton Road
- Montgomery office, 6901 Vaughn Road
- Huntsville office, 2625 Memorial Parkway Southwest
The locks will be given out on a first come, first served basis and will only be given to owners of 2011-2022 model year Kia and Hyundai vehicles. All attendees will need to show their vehicle registration or insurance card to prove ownership before receiving a lock…
