Former Alabama chiropractor sentenced for trying to fatally poison his wife with lead

DECATUR, Ala. (TCN) — A former chiropractor was recently sentenced for trying to fatally poison his wife with lead.

According to WAFF-TV, on Aug. 27, Brian Mann received life behind bars with the possibility of parole. He was previously convicted in June of attempted murder.

In January 2022, the defendant’s wife, Hannah Mann, was reportedly admitted to a hospital with abdominal pain, and staff determined she had consumed a large amount of lead “over an extended period of time.” Lead was recovered from Hannah Mann’s body during treatment. She remained hospitalized for months but survived the incident. The victim reportedly told authorities that her husband “had provided her with daily supplements.”…
