AUBURN, Ala. (WRBL) – Auburn Police, with help from the U.S. Marshals Service Gulf Coast Regional Task Force, have arrested a Montgomery man in connection with a February shooting that left one man dead.
Mardrekus Ja Quan Lee, 23, was taken into custody Thursday, August 28, 2025, on felony warrants charging him with murder and first-degree robbery.
The charges stem from a Feb. 15 incident on the 4300 block of Golf Club Drive, where officers found a 33-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators say Lee knew the victim and the attack was not random…
