ELMORE COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) – Authorities are investigating a Friday morning threat toward a high school in Millbrook, according to a spokesperson for Elmore County Public Schools.
Officials say the threat was toward Stanhope Elmore High School from “someone outside the system.” As a result, all Millbrook and Coosada schools were secured and placed on lockdown.
As of 1 p.m., officials confirmed law enforcement “down-graded all Millbrook and Coosada schools to a Heighten Awareness status- regular schedule with security measures heightened” as they continue investigating the threat…
