MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – Saturday marked an incredible milestone for one Montgomery couple.
Ruth and James Shackleford celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary.
What started as James giving Ruth free ice cream from the truck he worked on, led to the couple raising 12 children and overseeing five generations of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
They said once they got together, they never wanted to let each other go. And they’ve given much of there life to serving god…
