MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WDNews) – State Representative Ron Bolton says reports circulating on social media about Alabama’s “squatted truck” law taking effect are false.

Bolton explained that while the bill was introduced last session, it died on the Senate calendar and never became law. “A gentleman in south Alabama posted on Facebook that it was, but this is incorrect,” Bolton said in a statement. “He provided a really good description of my bill from last session; however, the bill died on the Senate calendar the last session day. I’ve re-filed it as HB35 for next session.”…
