A new campaign called “Recovery is Here” is making waves across Alabama during National Recovery Month. The initiative aims to reduce stigma, share resources, and highlight real stories of recovery, including that of Josh and Kayton Weldon from Montgomery.
Josh and Kayton Weldon faced their own battles with addiction but found strength and healing together. Their journey is part of the “Recovery is Here” campaign, which shows that recovery is possible.
“Being that we’re both in recovery, we both understand that… you’re going to get those calls where someone needs help,” Josh Weldon said. “Sometimes it’s okay for us to go together… but either way, we both being in long-term recovery, have learned that if we don’t help these people, that’s what keeps us sober.”…
