SHEFFIELD, Ala. — Sergio’s Authentic Mexican Restaurant & Bar Grill is back in business after spending the beginning of the month under a court-ordered shutdown.

Operators announced on Thursday that the restaurant had received the “green light” to reopen and would welcome customers back on Friday at 11 a.m., marking the end of a brief but significant closure due to unpaid state sales taxes.
