CECIL, Ala. (WSFA) – What was once a childhood dream for Johnny Thames is now his reality. A few months ago he moved to Cecil and finally got a special yard decoration he’s always wanted.
“It’s a Aermotor Windmill,” said Cecil resident Johnny Thames.
His passion started as a little boy.
“We’d drive up with the family to Georgia or we’d go up to North Alabama or wherever. And I always was looking out the windows and I’d see the old windmills on the farms. I just had this thing where I wanted a windmill.”…
