WETUMPKA, Ala. (WSFA) – The city of Wetumpka unveiled a new historical marker Friday honoring blues legend Ronnie Lovejoy, recognizing his lasting impact on both the local community and the music industry.

Lovejoy was born in Wetumpka and rose to fame with hits like “Sho Wasn’t Me.”
