MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – Law enforcement, entrepreneurs, and everyday residents met publicly Wednesday evening with one goal in mind: creating positive momentum for Montgomery’s downtown after the traumatizing October 4 mass shooting.
“While this was a devastating event, we are Montgomery strong,” said LaConya Murray, the chair of Main Street Montgomery, the event’s organizer. “We are continuing to move forward and make progress and we want to make sure that people patronize the business and community downtown.”
