Montgomery mass shooting suspect released on bond

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – One of the four suspects arrested so far in Montgomery’s deadly Oct. 4 mass shooting has been released on bond.

Javorick Whiting, 19, was arrested on Thursday and charged with one count of attempted murder.

He has since been released from the Montgomery County Detention Facility after making bail on a $60,000 bond.

Three others charged in the shooting that left two dead and 12 others injured remain behind bars. Those include Dantavious McGhee, 19, Kemontae Hood, 21, and an unidentified juvenile, who all face multiple charges, including capital murder…
