Montgomery, AL – Governor Kay Ivey on Tuesday hosted 48 Trooper Trainees set to graduate from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA)’s Training Center, marking one of the largest classes to complete the program since before the pandemic.
The event took place on the steps of the Alabama Governor’s Mansion, where Governor Ivey personally greeted each soon-to-be trooper before inviting them to a reception held in their honor.
“These new troopers represent the very best of Alabama — men and women who have chosen a life of service, courage and integrity,” said Governor Ivey. “They stand on the front lines of law and order, and their presence will be felt across all corners of our state as we continue strengthening public safety and law enforcement. I want each of them to know their governor has their backs as they proudly serve and protect the people of Alabama.”…
