First sentencing hearing to be held in Jim Massey’s robbery, assault case

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – A man accused of taking part in the violent robbery of a Montgomery business is set to be sentenced Thursday, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Zedekiah Sykes, 58, of Montgomery, pleaded guilty to his role in the robbery and assault of Montgomery business owner Jim Massey, III, at his dry cleaning business in March.
