Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease cases rise as Alabama daycares issue parent alerts

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – A rise in Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease around the country has daycares in Alabama on alert, with center directors sending notices home to parents.

48 News talked with doctors at the Alabama Department of Public Health and found children aren’t the only ones impacted by this virus.
