Montgomery, AL – Thousands of items — including a semi-truck, forklifts, four-wheelers, office equipment, tools, and cookware — will be available for bidding this weekend in the latest online state surplus property auction hosted by the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA).

The Surplus Property Division will hold the auction beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, and it will run until 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9. The auction includes property no longer needed by state and federal agencies, as well as items voluntarily abandoned at several airports across the Southeast. A public viewing and inspection period will be held at the Surplus Property Division’s Distribution Center, located at 4590 Mobile Highway in Montgomery, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5, through Friday, Nov. 7.
