CULLMAN, Ala. — Thousands of cellphone users across four Alabama counties lost service Monday after a fiber optic line was cut, affecting multiple major carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile and FirstNet.
Parts of Cullman, Blount, Winston and Limestone counties experienced major disruptions, according to local emergency management officials. Other counties and wireless providers may also be affected.
