Alleged ‘Leader’ Of Drug Trafficking Georgia–Alabama Organization Arrested

Authorities in Georgia and Alabama have arrested the “leader” of a local drug trafficking organization after seizing nearly $250,000 worth of drugs and multiple firearms.

Muscogee County Sheriff Greg Countryman on Tuesday announced the result of the joint narcotics investigation with the Russell County Sheriffs Office in southeastern Alabama, which borders Muscogee County, Ga., following the execution of two search warrants and the arrest of Jonathan Provo.

During the searches, authorities seized 1,350.5 Xanax pills, 500 Percocet tablets, 24.9 pounds of marijuana, 877.9 grams of THC gummies, 171.7 grams of ketamine, 69.1 grams of methamphetamine, 29 grams of cocaine, and 8 grams of fentanyl. There were also a variety of psychedelic drugs, including 345 tabs of “acid,” which generally refers to LSD, 30.5 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 400 grams of psilocybin mushroom gummies, and 4 psilocybin mushroom chocolate bars were confiscated.
