HOPE HULL, Ala. (WSFA) – The victim killed in a fiery Friday morning crash involving a pickup truck and an 18-wheeler in Montgomery County is being identified by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
ALEA confirmed Saturday morning that Nathan C. Griggs, 58, of Montgomery, died after the 2022 International tractor-trailer he was driving was struck by a 2015 Ford F-250 pickup driven by a 37-year-old Prattville man.
The collision happened shortly after 10 a.m. near Hyundai Boulevard and Mobile Highway in Hope Hull. Both vehicles caught fire, ALEA investigators said, and became fully engulfed with flames.
Griggs died on the scene. The other driver was taken to a Montgomery hospital for treatment of injuries, the severity of which was not released…
