There’s a new face (and neck) to see at the Montgomery Zoo.
Ozzi, a female giraffe calf born on Aug. 3, has officially made its debut at the zoo in our capital city. Standing six feet tall at birth, she has become closely bonded with her mother, Ashley, while adjusting to life at the zoo.
The zoo says JJ, Ozzi’s father, has shown enthusiastic interest in his new role as a dad. But while his excitement is heartwarming, the Zoo’s animal care team is prioritizing safety and welfare by keeping JJ separate from Ashley and Ozzi for now…
