Traffic stop leads to multiple arrests for possession of narcotics and weapons charge

On Monday November 10, 2025, Millbrook police conducted a traffic stop on Highway 14, near I-65. While interviewing the driver, the investigating officer detected the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle, also observing furtive movements from multiple occupants inside the vehicle. Once assisting officers arrived on scene, officers began removing the driver and passengers from inside of the vehicle. While conducting a pat-down of one of the individual’s person for officer safety, officers located material believed to be narcotics, as well as a loaded pistol magazine. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted, producing a total of (4) semi-automatic pistols, as well as an amount of marijuana, various narcotics, to include Xanax, Oxycodone and Codeine, as well as other prescription medications. One of the weapons appeared to have been modified with a part that potentially converted the pistol into a fully automatic firearm, or “Glock Switch”.
