Alabama teens charged with multiple PCB car burglaries

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – The Bay County Sheriff’s Office announced on Tuesday that they have arrested two people connected to a series of vehicle burglaries in the Panama City Beach subdivision known as the Oaks.

Law enforcement said during the early morning hours on November 18, 18-year-old Brandon Fortner and 16-year-old Bryson Ankrom, both from Enterprise, Alabama, were captured on security camera attempting door handles and burglarizing 21 vehicles on Pleasant Oak Court, Lagoon Oaks Drive, and Grand Oaks Lane.

NewsChannel 7 is told that all of the targeted vehicles were left unlocked, and the suspects reportedly stole multiple firearms, cash, and other valuables.

“These are very simple crimes to stop by locking your car doors,” said Bay County Sheriff Tommy Ford, “We very rarely arrive on a scene where a window has been broken, and things have been taken out of a car.”…
