The TikTok Shows Target Advertising a Fake $52 Discount

TikToker Melanie posted the video on behalf of her husband, who noticed something suspicious while browsing Christmas trees. The display showed a tree “regularly” priced at $175, now “marked down” to $122.50 — a supposed $52.50 savings.

But then he looked closer.

When he checked the product boxes on the shelf, he noticed the original price tags had been covered up. Under the sticker, the tree’s actual original price wasn’t $175 at all…
