Towing Company Operator Arrested in Chattanooga

The owner of a Chattanooga towing company faces charges for allegedly running a criminal operation across Tennessee, Alabama, and Kentucky. Police state that Benjamin Duvall, owner of Choo Choo Towing, sold vehicles he did not own. Reports began after cars vanished from driveways and parking lots, later appearing for sale on Facebook Marketplace. Detectives say victims believed their cars were being traded in or consigned.

Investigators say they were able to tie at least fourteen vehicles to an Alabama dealer with outstanding warrants that were photographed for sale on Duvall’s lot. The affidavit says Duvall does not have a dealer license in Tennessee or Alabama…
