MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WHNT) – Gov. Kay Ivey announced on Wednesday that more than $3.8 million has been awarded to help low-income residents reduce their home energy bills through the Alabama Weatherization Assistance Program.
The 13 grants awarded to community action agencies throughout the state provide money for the program, which improves the energy efficiency and safety of homes selected for assistance.
