A man and a woman are in custody after shots were exchanged Friday night between law enforcement officers and a suspect during a two-county police chase on Interstate 20 in east Alabama.
The pursuit began in Calhoun County and ended in Cleburne County with one of the suspects standing on top of a vehicle in a brief standoff.
The ordeal started sometime before 8:30 p.m. when Calhoun County Sheriff Fallon Hurst said deputies were trying to serve an arrest warrant in the Oxford area…
