BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Spotty showers will continue along a weak surface boundary and accompanied surface low pressure system. High pressure will be centered in the middle of the country in 24 hours and will bring in north winds by early Sunday morning.
A Cold Weather Advisory has been placed into effect due to the forecasted wind-chills (aka feels like temperature) that will be in the single digits in some locations of our Northern and Northeastern Alabama counties by early Monday morning. As the center of the ridge moves over the Appalachians, it will usher in sharp cold air into central Alabama by Sunday night into Monday morning. We stay mainly drive through the middle of the week.
