BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBMA) — Drivers in Birmingham are seeing another week of declining fuel costs, with average gasoline prices falling 2.9 cents per gallon to $2.61, according to new data from GasBuddy’s survey of 550 area stations.
Prices in Birmingham are now 9.1 cents lower than a month ago and nearly 7 cents lower than this time last year. The lowest price recorded in the city over the weekend was $2.28 per gallon, while the most expensive hit $2.89, marking a 61-cent difference across the metro.
