PARRIS ISLAND, S.C. (WSAV) — A body was discovered at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island on Thursday.
The deceased person was identified as 26-year-old Sgt. Cameron Thach, from Elmore, Alabama. Thach was an Operational Contract Support Specialist assigned to the Regional Contracting Office, Headquarters and Service Battalion.
The cause of death is currently under investigation…
