A group of 19 Buddhist monks and their dog are heading to Montgomery as they pass through Alabama on their 2,300 mile journey across the country by foot.
The monks are marking the two-month point on their cross-country trek for peace this week. On Tuesday, they will walk to the State House to meet with visitors and pray for peace.
