The group of monks on a pilgrimage from Fort Worth, Texas to Washington, D.C. have reached Alabama’s capital city and have a whole day of events ahead of them.

About the Walk for Peace
The Sangha (a.k.a. the Buddhist community of monks) from the Huong Dao Vipassana Bhavana Center began their journey in late October. The walk is set to take about 120 days and last 2,300 miles.
