BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Happy Sunday!
It’s been a chilly start to the day with temperatures in the mid to upper 30s. Fog has dissipated, and we are enjoying some much-needed sunshine. Temperatures are warming up into the upper 40s and lower 50s shortly before noon.
We will enjoy a mostly sunny to partly cloudy sky this afternoon. Clouds from Mississippi will spread to the east, giving us a partly to mostly cloudy sky by this evening.
Temperatures will be close to average for early January with highs in the mid to upper 50s. Winds are forecast to come from the north at 5 to 10 mph. If you have any evening plans, we should remain dry and mostly cloudy with temperatures cooling into the upper 40s by 7 p.m.
Patchy fog possible Monday morning: We will likely remain partly to mostly cloudy tonight. With clouds in place, temperatures won’t be as chilly as this morning. Patchy fog could be an issue tomorrow morning, so make sure you check in with Meaghan and Mickey on Good Day Alabama for the latest updates before you plan to travel on the roads…
