Alabama man accused of lottery fraud in Anderson County

ANDERSON, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division reports an Alabama man is facing charges for lottery fraud in Anderson County.

Arrest warrants said 24-year-old Kiernan L. Jones falsely made, altered, of counterfeited a state lottery game ticket by passing a stolen scratch-off lottery ticket at Leonards Quick Stop on Old Dobbins Bridge Road in Fair Play. He also passed three tickets at Loves Travel Stop on Old Dobbins Bridge Road around 5:30 p.m. on May 11, 2024.
