Alabama’s housing boom is cooling off — but in many places, housing costs are still high.
AL.com surveyed 60 Alabama residents in December and asked about housing costs and interest in buying a home. Many respondents said it seems increasingly expensive to buy, rent, upgrade and pay taxes on their residence.
