MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – Vigils were held across the country for Renee Good, who was shot by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer in Minneapolis the previous day.
In Montgomery, members of the 50501 Freedom Fighters and Alabama Resisters of Indivisible gathered for a candlelight vigil and protest near the local Department of Homeland Security field office.
Attendees said video of the shooting was difficult to watch and the incident raised renewed calls for accountability and clearer rules governing the use of force by ICE agents…
