ELMORE COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) – An assistant supervisor of Alabama Correctional Industries was arrested Thursday on contraband charges, according to the Alabama Department of Corrections.
Jarad Daniel Walker has been charged with first degree promoting prison contraband, first degree theft of property, and use of official position for personal gain.
The contraband in question was identified as electronics and jewelry. The items Walker is accused of stealing were recovered during a search of his home.
