Nearly 1,300 people were found to be registered to vote in Arkansas at the same time they were registered in Alabama or Tennessee under an initiative aimed at removing outdated information, Secretary of State Cole Jester said Friday.
Officials confirmed 1,267 people appear to be registered in both Arkansas and Tennessee or Alabama, the neighboring states participating in the initiative. Jester will work with the other two states to remove whichever registration is inaccurate, according to a news release…
