The U.S. House approved more than $12 million in funding for north Alabama infrastructure and public safety needs, U.S. Rep. Dale Strong, R-Monrovia, announced Friday.
Strong, who serves as a member of the Appropriations Committee and vice chairman of the Commerce, Justice, and Science Subcommittee, said the funding was included in H.R. 6938, the Commerce, Justice, Science; Energy and Water Development; and Interior and Environment Act, 2026, which the House passed this week.
