DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) — A popular Wiregrass businessman has made his run for the highest office in the state official.
Chad “Chig” Martin officially signed the paperwork on Tuesday to confirm his 2026 gubernatorial run.
“It is great to be qualified for Governor of Alabama. I look forward to giving sensible, respectful, and innovative leadership to our citizens. I will never take special interest money. This is your state, and I work for you,” Martin told WDHN in a statement.
