Two inmates have been killed at Elmore Correctional Facility in the town of Elmore in an assault involving a weapon.
The Alabama Department of Corrections says on Thursday, January 15, inmates Damon Lamar Calhoun, Deion Lamar Booth and Londell Ramone Nunn, Jr., were discovered fighting with a weapon being involved. ADOC hasn’t disclosed what type of weapon was used.
Calhoun and Nunn were severely injured and taken to the Health Care Unit for emergency treatment. They were both pronounced dead, ADOC says. Booth wasn’t hurt…
