The Alabama Crimson Tide’s cheer team claimed its eighth national championship over the weekend in Orlando, Florida, in the UCA Division 1A all-girls National championship.

Alabama’s winning score of 93.5 was enough to beat out South Florida’s score of 89.6 on the event’s final round, which was enough to earn the Crimson Tide its eighth national title.
This national championship gives the Tide its eighth in program history, fourth all-time in the event, and is the team’s first since 2022.
