WETUMPKA, Ala. (WSFA) – A Deatsville woman has been arrested and charged with manslaughter and driving under the influence following a deadly two-vehicle crash.
Mysti Shamblin, 39, was taken into custody Tuesday after warrants were issued in connection with the January 18 crash that claimed the life of Victoria Purdy, 36, of Prattville.
Wetumpka police officers responded to the scene at Highway 14 and McCain Road around 2:25 a.m. on Sunday.
