West Alabama communities under this advisory: Bibb, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Perry, Pickens, Sumter, Tuscaloosa, and Walker counties.
What to Expect
“For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low as 1 expected in the north to 10 to 15 in the southeast,” said the National Weather Service in Birmingham.
Weather Alert #2
An Extreme Cold Warning from Saturday, January 31, at Noon through Sunday, February 1, at Noon.
This warning impacts Lamar County in West Alabama.
What to Expect
“For the Extreme Cold Warning, dangerously cold wind chills as low as 1 below expected by Saturday morning,” said the National Weather Service in Birmingham.
This impacts Lamar County.

An Extreme Cold Watch from Saturday, January 31, at Noon through Sunday, February 1, at Noon.
West Alabama communities under this advisory: Bibb, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Lamar, Perry, Pickens, Sumter, Tuscaloosa, and Walker counties.
What to Expect
The National Weather Service in Birmingham said, “For the Extreme Cold Watch, dangerously cold wind chills as low as 1 above possible in the north to 5 to 10 in the southeast.”
